Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook - Nokia (Officially) Enters the Laptop Game
Other specifications include integrated A-GPS, which will come with the Ovi Maps software, HDMI out, and a 12 hour battery, which sounds pretty impressive.
As the name would suggest the Nokia Booklet 3G will come with built in 3G/HSPA connectivity, plus WiFi which will provide high speed Internet access on the go.
Unfortunately there is no word on pricing or availability as yet, but Nokia will be releasing more details on the Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook on the 2nd of September at Nokia World.
I have to admit it looks pretty good from the publicity shots, and the specifications seem decent as well, I suspect it will be using NVIDIA Ion graphics, lets hope Nokia price the Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook competitively.

Hurricane Bill Raides Fears - Hurricane Bill skirts US coast
Miami – Hurricane Bill, the first of the Atlantic storm season, doused Bermuda with heavy rain on Saturday as it barrelled past the islands, raising fears of life-threatening waves along the US east coast.
Packing winds of 105 miles (165 kilometres) an hour, the hurricane was set to head perilously close to the upscale island resort of Martha’s Vineyard, where US President Barack Obama and his family are heading for vacation on Sunday.
The US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) warned of “extremely dangerous” surf and “life-threatening rip currents” throughout a vast area including the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
In the Dominican Republic, on the island of Hispaniola, authorities reported waves up to 10 feet (three meters) high churned up due to Bill’s passage.
“It’s quite wild at the moment, but we’re used to hurricanes in Bermuda,” said Lorna Cervantez, who works at the island’s Royal Palms Hotel. “From our previous experience, we have to get ready.”
Residents of the British overseas territory with gas cylinders were asked to turn them off as they could become dangerous projectiles if winds pick up.
Bermuda was expected to avoid a direct hit from Bill as the hurricane churns past it on its way to near Massachusetts in time for the Obamas’ arrival.
Yacht owners battened down the hatches at Martha’s Vineyard, a popular island of tranquillity for the rich and famous where the US first family was due to spend a week unwinding for the first time since Obama’s inauguration in January.
“Phones are ringing off the hook and the hurricane is all people are talking about,” said Ned Kaiser, the assistant harbour master at Martha’s Vineyard.
“We’re hearing we’ll have pretty big seas with the storm surge coming. Out in the ocean now, the waves are 12 to 15 feet” (3.7 to 4.6 meters).
US oil giant Exxon Mobil said it was evacuating all 200 workers from a gas platform off the Canadian east coast ahead of Hurricane Bill’s expected weekend arrival.
At 06:00 GMT on Saturday, Bill’s eye was about 205 miles (330 kilometres) west of Bermuda, and about 475 miles (765 kilometres) east-southeast of the US coastline at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, the NHC said.
It was moving northwest at around 20 miles (32 kilometres) per hour.
“On the forecast track, the core of Hurricane Bill is expected to pass over the open waters between Bermuda and the east coast of the United States this morning,” the NHC said.
The Atlantic hurricane season began on June 1 and ends on November 30.
Weather experts specialising in hurricane forecasting predicted above average activity over the next two weeks.
Reality Star Ryan Jenkins Found Dead in Canada
Jenkins, 32, was a fugitive suspect in the murder of his ex-wife and swimsuit-model Jasmine Fiore. The reality star was found dead of an apparent suicide at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, a spokesperson for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office tells "The Insider."
A hotel employee found Jenkins hanged in the motel room and contacted the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, according to the spokesperson. Canadian police will be investigating the death.
Jenkins was a contestant on VH1's reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire."
Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 star Ryan Jenkins is dead, having committed suicide in a Canadian hotel room, according to police. He was charged with murdering his ex-wife and mutilating her body such that she was identified using the serial numbers on her breast implants.
A Royal Canadian Mounted Police spokesperson told the CP that “the RCMP federal border integrity program is able to confirm that a deceased person that was found in a motel in Hope, British Columbia, is in fact Ryan Jenkins. At this time the investigation into the circumstances of his death is continuing but preliminary evidence suggests that he took his own life.” He “was found at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope and had apparently hanged himself,” the CP reports, citing the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
On VH1’s blog, a not-exactly-official statement post says, “Tragedy begets tragedy. Of course, our sympathy goes out to the friends and families of Jasmine Fiore and Ryan Jenkins, as it has for the past several days.”
Meanwhile, VH1 has officially cancelled Megan Wants a Millionaire, and will therefore probably never air any more of, but the network said Friday that it could actually air I Love Money 3, on which Jenkins appeared.
The New York Times reports that while “51 Minds would not confirm reports that Mr. Jenkins was the winning contestant,” it “did say that he visited its production office on Aug. 12 to pick up a check for $5,200, his honorarium for appearing on the show.” It’s unclear if that’s different than his potential prize money; the second season gave its winner $250,000.
The paper also reports that “VH1 has not decided on the future of the other show, ‘I Love Money 3,’ which was set to make its debut in January.” In a new statement released to the Times on Friday, VH1 backed away from its initial, completely disingenuous statement that shifted any responsibility to the show’s producers for casting someone with a sketchy past.
Before Jenkins was discovered dead, the network said it has “ultimate responsibility is what’s on our air, and in this case we immediately took the show off the schedule as well as off of our digital platforms.” It hedges a bit more saying, “Everyone has a role to play in the hundreds of hours of original programming that we develop each year. Something went wrong here, so weĆ¢€™re all looking at the process to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

The Name Is Enough - My name is Patel
So sad, that the immigration officers did not know the 'Baazigar' that you are and that all of India is your 'Deewana'. Imagine!! Even after we welcomed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with a 'Dil aashna hai'attitude, they thought you were some kind of 'Don' or 'Duplicate!' But I am so happy you braved it like a true 'Fauji' and did not show the slightest 'Darr'.
Going to 'Pardes' has become a pain for us too but kya karey, 'Dil toh pagal hai.' Like you said, it's the NRI.s ki, 'Mohabbatein' that takes us there. 'Ram jaaney' what will be the 'Anjaam' of this incident which is now a big political 'Paheli'
The 'Trimurti' gang is saying this was a mere publicity stunt, that you are doing some 'One two ka four' to show your 'Shakti-the power', Salman bhai is saying that its nothing new, they keep doing this with every 'Karan Arjun' and 'Billu'! Well, what to do, life is a big 'Circus' and it has 'Kabhi khushi kabhi ghum.'

I don't believe in VIP culture, says SRK
In an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN Editor-in-Chief Rajdeep Sardesai, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan spoke about his detention at the US airport and denied that it was a publicity stunt for his upcoming movie My Name Is Khan.
Shah Rukh said it was an unpleasant experience and he would never do something like this for publicity.
Here is an excerpt of the interview -
Rajdeep Sardesai: Critics are saying that Shah Rukh Khan's detention in America has been hyped by Shah Rukh himself and it is a publicity stunt for the upcoming film My Name Is Khan. How do you react to that?
Shah Rukh Khan: As a matter of fact my film is coming much later, there are still some eight to nine months to go and we normally don't start promotion of the movie this early. Moreover, it is not very positive when someone asks you for vouching for you to enter someone's country. Though I don't want to say this word, I would say it is a bit disrespectful.
Rajdeep Sardesai: People are detained and questioned in American airports post 9/11, this is a regular practice there. Then why should suddenly Shah Rukh Khan take it as a personal upfront? Was it that how can you detain me, I am Shah Rukh Khan?
Shah Rukh Khan: No, I am very humble about what I am. I may talk about myself when I talk about my films otherwise I am very humble. I am very scared of rules and therefore always abide by them. Like everyone even I had those instances when I have been subjected to very thorough special security checking.
Rajdeep Sardesai: The problem perhaps in India is that our security system is not tough enough. We still work on VIP system where a Shah Rukh Khan or a big politician can easily walk through an airport without being checked.
Shah Rukh Khan: Whenever I am flying I always stand in queues and make my children do the same.
Rajdeep Sardesai: You don't believe in VIP culture?
Shah Rukh Khan: No, I never called anyone asking please get me inside faster. I have not done that even in a night club. Even in India I don't believe in saying 'don't you know who I am' when I am asked for my identification.
